I’m making a few pieces for Snakes & Lattes (a local cafe), and this was first on the list. Very happy with the results!
Next up: Bioshock Infinite! (Elizabeth, Booker and hopefully Songbird, somehow)

I felt the urge to draw but didn’t really have any inspiration…so I just drew a character of mine in a cute outfit. I stole the pose from a vintage pin-up, oops.
I’ll add this to the list of things that need to get finished!

Just a little piece for fun. It’s been hard for me to get into drawing original stuff, ever since I tried going to college for an art program (and dropped out less than a year later). It sort of killed it for me. That was…6 years ago, now. I didn’t drop out because I was bad at it, in fact I did pretty well in all my classes. It just wasn’t the right thing for me to do.
I am starting to feel an urge to draw my original characters again, and I think drawing all these lady gaga pictures has helped me get back into the mood. Sometimes drawing just for fun can be beneficial; doing a piece of art doesn’t always have to be “serious business”, I don’t think.
That’s all I have to say about that.
I feel like I have a lot of tiny projects going on that are all in various levels of completion. So what do I do? Go ahead and start a new one! Luckily though, I finish these portraits pretty quickly. This is a close-up of the one I’m working on right now. It will be big enough to be printed on 8.5×11″.
